No, Libyair is a travel and aviation services provider for tourists and business that manages flight and travel solutions, not an operating airline. LibyAir is a travel and booking service helping customers plan and confirm trips to and from Libya, with support for flights and travel arrangements.

Is LibyAir a travel agency?

LibyAir operates as a booking and travel facilitation service. Moreover, under Georgian law, it operates also as a travel agency and tour operator. In some cases, services may be provided through partner agencies or suppliers depending on availability and destination.

Where is LibyAir based?

LibyAir works with partners in Libya and internationally. It is legally based in Georgia but for operational purposes it operates via Libyan partners and works via local counterparts in Tripoli. Structure may be international.

Booking Process

How do I make a booking with LibyAir?

To book a flight with LibyAir, simply click on “Book a Flight” on our homepage. You will need to select the type of booking you require—either International Flights or Domestic Flights within Libya—and fill out your travel details in the booking form. International Flights: Our booking process is quick and easy since we utilize an international booking network (GDS). This allows us to efficiently check availability and issue tickets. Domestic Flights within Libya: Some Libyan airlines are not fully integrated into international booking systems, so domestic bookings follow a manual or semi-automated process. To expedite this, our team may confirm availability and finalize the booking through direct communication with the airline or our local partners via email or WhatsApp. Once availability is confirmed, we will provide you with a detailed offer and assist you with the payment and delivery of your ticket or confirmation.

How long does it take to confirm a booking?

Most bookings are confirmed within 24 to 72 hours, depending on the type of service (such as flights or visas) and availability. For domestic flights, since the process is handled manually, the confirmation time relies on a swift response from our partner agencies. Typically, clients receive a confirmation message within 4 to 6 hours on Whatsapp and email.

Can LibyAir book a full trip package?

Yes. We can organize complete travel solutions including flight + hotel + airport transfers + assistance via partner agencies.

Do I receive a booking confirmation?

Where applicable and legally possible, we can guide you and/or coordinate with partners.

Payment

How can I pay?

Payment methods vary depending on the service and location. Common options include bank transfers and secure payment solutions such as PayPal, Stripe, and credit cards. Since Libyair operates on a commission-based business model, clients may incur additional fees based on their chosen payment method. For example, if a client pays via PayPal, they might be charged a PayPal commission in addition to the commission from Libyair.

Do you accept cash payments?

Can I pay in installments?

For most travel services, full payment is required before confirmation. Installments may be possible for some services (case-by-case).

Is my payment secure?

We prioritize secure payment methods and provide official receipts or confirmations where applicable.

Cancellations, Refunds & Changes

What if an airline cancels the flight?

Are your prices fixed?

Prices depend on availability and may change quickly, especially for flights. Offers are confirmed only after payment and ticketing.

Do you charge service fees?

Can LibyAir book flights to Libya?

Yes, we can assist with flight booking based on availability, preferred dates, and airlines operating routes to/from Libya.

Can you book multi-city or connecting flights?

Yes, including itineraries with transits and stopovers.

Can you reserve flights without payment?

In general, flight reservations require payment. For domestic flights, Libyair will send a quote and keep it on hold for a limited period of time, depending on the airline. On expiry, the booking process shall be repeated online.

Can you change my flight after booking?

Changes depend on airline rules and fare conditions. We will guide you through possible options and costs.

Transport & Transfers

Do you provide airport pickup and drop-off?

Yes, airport transfers can be arranged in Libya and other destinations where partners are available. Use VIP form request for that available in our section “Our services”.

Do you offer private drivers?

Can I book transport for business trips and meetings?

No. Visa approval is always a decision by the relevant authorities/embassies.

Some services may include a service fee, which will always be communicated clearly before confirmation.

Do you provide a receipt ?

Yes, once the tickets / services are paid , Libyair provides the client with a receipt and proof of payment.

Can I request a quotation?

What are your working hours?

Support hours depend on operations and time zones. Domestic flights shall be preferably booked from Sunday to Thursday, 08.00 – 22.00 local time.
